Collectuscia cover

Collectuscia is a product-service system designed to promote slow tourism along the Cammino del Pellegrino - Via Francigena by connecting local businesses and visitors through collectible patches applied to the “Paniere del pellegrino”. Distributed by shops, enterprises, and cultural centers, the patches encourage tourists to explore new places and offer discounts on local products.

User journey

The service combines redesigned paniere del pellegrino baskets and collectible patches within a network of local places and activities, functioning like a treasure hunt that encourages travelers to explore and discover. Along the Via Francigena, travelers collect a basket, explore to gather patches and recipes, then return to upgrade it with local products. Back home, the patched basket carries the journey’s memories into daily life.
